Pêcheries (Les)

Created in 1904, the "Café-Laitierie les Pêcheries" was a focal point in the neighbourhood until 1980 when it was nearly totally destroyed by a major fire. Twenty years later, two friends - passionate sports fans - fell in love with this listed building. They undertook renovation work to make it into a meeting place where neighbourhood residents, businessmen who work locally and top level sportsmen could come and unwind.

The menu offers brasserie-style cooking along with seasonal menus (only with prior booking) and many specials including a wide range of fish dishes, succulent beef steaks directly from a farmer in the Limousin region of France. The house philosophy is to cater for customers by providing reasonably-priced dishes without compromising quality. The same applies to the wine list, prepared with the 2000 expert wine waiter Xavier Faber who offers affordable new vintages and a house wine "by the inch" for more reasonable drinkers. During the summer months, you can relax on the splendid terrace all day long, whilst enjoying sweet and savoury snacks A note for all travellers: our dynamic duo have exported their talents and opened a Belgian brasserie in Los Angeles.
