This place could be mistaken for the Sambadrome in Rio: on a smaller scale perhaps, but just as hot. Watch out though: in the small hours the atmosphere can quickly turn rebellious, especially after the consumption of one too many caipirhinias.

Brazil, its frenzied rhythms, its heat: That's what's in store at Canoa Quebrada! The bar's name, "canoe", may refer to its tendency to capsize quite rapidly under the influence of cachaça and caipirinhas from Nice Brazil!

From 9pm-midnight, live music with Brazilian influences will take you straight to Latin America. Later on, you can groove the night away to salsa, samba and other exotic music with a cocktail firmly in hand! Getting tired? Head for "Canoinha", a smaller, quieter bar at the back of the room, to get your breath back before heading back out onto the dance floor! As you can imagine, this unforgettable atmosphere, the salsa, the tropical rhythms and exotic cocktails combine to make this into one hot night! In addition, the Canoa regularly organises themed evenings, which are great for those who like a night out with a difference!
