Comocomo it's a new type of fast-food concept, where tradition and technology fuse to provide a new experience of good quality food and service, respectively. The new Basque kitchen school, served in small portions called «Pintxos», represents the tradition. Regarding technology, the mini conveyor belt (80m long), like the one we find in the airports for the luggage, makes this system a real fast-food service. All these implemented in a place integrated with the lifestyle of the famous Antoine Dansaert Street, mixing spatial and industrial designs, with the purpose to create a cool and cozy atmosphere.
The entire restaurant is innovative, from the Pintxos to the way of serving them. Using fresh products, playing with colors and design combinations, the cooks manage to combine a large variety of high quality miniature meals.
The system
The little dishes turn around everywhere through one of the world's longest conveyor belts. Each food category has a price represented by the color of its dish. This gives the system a really colorful atmosphere. Besides, there are some menus and some midday specials.
Design wise, they played with spatial and industrial forms. There are some areas that look like a spatial ship, with lights on the walls and funky looking Modular lamps called Nomad. It also has an industrial look with big stain steel forms and a lot of free space, conserving the original concrete of the building.
Anyway, it is a cool place to hang out with friends, chat and eat some typical Basque Pintxos brought to you in a very innovative way.
What does comocomo mean? => comocomo means "How do I eat!!!" - with my fingers!!
