A bit of history

Kartell, founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, never fails to appeal. The shapes of the furniture leave us amazed. The technical skill involved is surprising. Kartell is always up for a challenge. The double shell of the "Mr Impossible", designed by Philippe Starck, has been fixed by laser. And then there's the legendary "Louis Ghost" in polycarbonate, moulded in one piece, by the same designer.
Internationally renowned designers such as Patrick Jouin, Marcel Wanders, the Bouroullec brothers and Patricia Urquiola have joined Antonio Citterio, Piero Lissoni, Alberto Meda as well as many others in putting their precious talent at the disposal of Kartell.
