Clan des Belges is a unique restaurant located right in the heart of Ixelles, at the corner where Rue Saint-Boniface meets Rue de la Paix. A great spot to try traditional Belgian stoemp as you enjoy the 1920s ambiance.
Le Clan des Belges : Journey back to the time of prohibition
Nico, Audrey and Guy are the team of fast friends behind this unique, colourful establishment that replaced the mythical Belgo Belge. When you enter Clan des Belges, you step back into the middle of the prohibition era in the 1920s, with ceiling mouldings, wooden tables, leather banquettes, industrial lamps, gramophones, old books, some family photos, gangster pistols (don’t worry, they’re not loaded!), and more.
Classic Belgian dishes
Clan des Belges offers a wide range of typical French and Belgian foods, including the famous ham knuckle with wholegrain mustard, duck breast with Kriek, Ostend cod, salads all included on the menu. The skilled young chef sends taste buds into a frenzy with dishes that all use fresh products. Anyone who enjoys a good aperitif will head straight to the drinks menu to test out the cocktails and large selection of Belgian beers. Clan des Belges also has something for those taking a late Sunday lie-in, offering a delicious brunch to give that much-needed energy boost.
