Mamma Roma is the new star in Brussels: pizzas cut right in front of you and sold by weight, just like in Rome. A relaxed and fun destination… and a way to enjoy Italian traditions.
Mamma Roma, tradition, taste and style
With Mamma Roma, pizza will no longer be considered the same ole food bought last minute to munch while watching a movie. Based on the Roman concept of “Al Taglio,” this establishment figured out how to revive the excellent reputation of this typical Italian dish.
The pizzas are sold by weight, between 1.79 and 2.69 euros for 100 grams. Crunchy and uniquely garnished, it is worth the detour- from the basic capricciosa à la patate al tartufo (mozzarella, potatoes, truffles sauce) to the melanzane pesto (eggplants, viola, cherry tomatoes, pesto). Make your choice between 130 modern recipes made with authentic and quality products.
Most often, the pizzas are ordered to-go, but you are also welcome to come and sit at one of the big wooden tables at the restaurant. This wonderful place started up at Flagey in 2005 but actually has 6 other locations: Boendael, Châtelain, Saint-Gilles, Dansaert, Jourdan, Waterloo. Long live this mouth watering concept of pizza to-go!
At Mamma Roma, you will find yourself in an Italian mamma’s kitchen to taste their delicious and convivial specialties!
