With WY, star chef Bart De Pooter presents his newest project, this time in collaboration with that other iconic star, Mercedes, the German synomym for elegance and refinement. The Mercedes House, situated at the Sablon in the heart of Brussels, reveals it's new in house bar & restaurant, that exceeds all expectations. Everything is in place that will assure visitors of a mind blowing experience.
For WY, De Pooter adapts his vision on cooking and food to the new setting of The Mercedes House. Not only does WYserve lunch and dinner, it also serves breakfast and on Sundays, brunch. As always, with the refinement that is Bart's hallmark.
Gastronomy at Sablon
The chef is guided by a passion for regional, ecologically sourced produce, revealing the typical, somewhat eccentric nature of his kitchen: taste patterns based on originality, freshness, frivolity and fun, with seasonal and, when possible, artisan ingredients.
For WY, Bart found a partner in crime in Wouter van de Vieren, former chef of Clandestino and renowned for his vegetable creations. Wouter is the executive chef in the WY kitchen. A kitchen that has a cctv system installed, so you can follow the preparation of your dish on huge monitors: that's what we call show cooking!
