First of all, there is the setting, unique and sumptuous, going back to 1881, the construction date of that strange Passage du Nord which joins Rue Neuve at Place De Brouckère: classified frontage that is used as a model for the restoration of the neighbouring shops, interior shelving, a spiral staircase and a cash register made of original wooden.

Then there is the warmth of the welcome reserved by the mistress of the place for her customers. One finds in her, with infinite pleasure, a remnant of the soul of Brussels, in her speech...a slight accent, certainly, but well present... but especially in this way of being which makes you feel, from the moment when you cross the threshold, as if she has known you forever and a day.
