Between the Grand-Place and the Grand Sablon, it is a somewhat piecemeal clientele which for 14 years has orbited around and within this "little Brussels eatery". At the helm, Corine Ceulemans. A Brussels lady who's really one of us, who bends over backwards to make everything run superbly. The menus so beautifully and meticulously written by hand, that's of her doing. The little stories that brighten up the menu and the Cornelian choice to be made with regard to the wine cellar, that's also of her doing. The thousand and one ideas that flourish to create a cosy and relatively unusual atmosphere, that's of her doing once again. In all, a charming place, a pleasure for the eyes and for the taste buds.

The speciality of the house

Because the gastronomic programme is particularly sophisticated. The speciality of the house is incontestably the bintjes, those little Dutch potatoes that are prepared there in 18 different ways. Closely followed by the grilled lobster, then the quality French cuisine, flavoured with herbs from all over world (note the excellent game menus, since we're bang in the middle of the season). All this enhanced by divine beverages (a hundred labels going from simple table wine to the nether reaches of the cellar), followed by dessert (and dessert wine), coffee or tea, a liqueur or some whisky, and a cigar!

And with that, what more could you ask for?

An open fire? A lovely terrace full of greenery? Multilingual staff? OK? Granted!
