In 1987, the building that houses I Latini today was threatened with destruction. It escaped its premature obituary thanks to the enthusiasm of a restorer. Today, it has one of most beautiful and welcoming frontages of Brussels. Behind it, a splendid ground floor with period walls, warm decoration and the typical atmosphere of the most appreciated Italian restaurants. For the nicotine-challenged, there's even a smoking-room on the mezzanine.

On the menu...

On the menu, the Mediterranean hand is deftly played. The best trumps include the pastas (fresh and home-made, if you please), the meat or fish dishes, and so on and so forth. Try for example the swordfish Carpaccio, the Roman-style artichoke hearts, the grilled prawns with sophisticated seasoning, the royal sea-bream? All proposals that will undoubtedly win your approval Two enticing set meals are also available: the Italianissimo and the "Lazio". The wine cellar for its part is stocked with a fair share of Italian labels, at affordable prices, in addition to some beverages from France.

Grocery corner

A grocery corner will enable you to acquire cottage-garden produce for your kitchen as well as some famous olive oils. A banqueting room that can accommodate 20 to 80 people is available for any meeting, celebration or reception. In times of better weather, the terrace will provide with you a little period of Italian respite right in the middle of Brussels.
