From the 12th century onwards, successive monarchs transformed a small fortified castle into a sumptuous residential palace, one of the most Beautiful European palaces and one of Charles v's main residences. This prestigious Building was severely damaged by fire in 1731 and it is Beneath the place royal that you will discover its remains, the archaeological site of the coudenBerg.
The BELvue museum will take you through the story of a small country, an amazing story of a piece of land called Belgium. The museum's magnificent setting is a former 18th century luxury hotel that has recently Been Beautifully renovated and is itself steeped in history. it offers the visitors an exceptional view of the royal palace and its gardens.

Atrium & gallery: Ground floor of the BELvue museum with a view of the Royal Palace's gardens - 110 m2 - max. 200 persons
The Borgendael salons: At the end of the curved gallery of the Royal Palace - 68 m2 - max. 50 persons
Reception rooms: Ground floor of the BELvue museum with a view of the Royal Palace's Place - 3 rooms of 47 m2 - max. 45 persons/room
Former palace of Brussels: below place royale - 500 m2 - max. 200 persons
Hoogstraeten house: Former private mansion next to rue Villa Hermosa and on the back of the Music Instrument Museum - 350 m2 + 350 m2 outside - max. 200 persons
