Since being founded in 1964, St. John's has consistently been recognised as one of the leading international schools in Belgium. Situated in Waterloo, we offer an international education which is based on Christian values to 900 students from over 60 countries.
The curriculum
Our curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate programme with Advanced Placement exams also offered to our High School students. Whilst French is the second language at school, we also offer a variety of other mother-tongue programmes including Dutch, German, Swedish and Spanish, which are taught at the secondary level. An extensive learning support programme is also offered to students with a wide range of special educational needs. With a 100% pass rate for our International Baccalaureate students over the last two years our academic results are recognised as being some of the best in Europe. More than 95 percent of our graduates go on to higher education at many of the top universities throughout the world.
The atmosphere
Our modern campus, set in 12 acres, includes a fully equipped sports arena, three libraries, five computer laboratories, sports fields, a purpose designed visual arts building and a state-of-the-art performing arts centre with a 400 seat theatre.
