The practice of going out on a Thursday night (to welcome the start of the weekend) is firmly fixed in the calendar of the Brussels night scene. The other days of the week will be covered in the future, but to start with Thursday's is an excellent introduction to the Brussels scene. Going out on a Thursday means beginning the evening a little earlier than a weekend night, as many people still have to go to work on the Friday, but out of respect for the Thursday night tradition, several clubs and many bars regard this as one of their biggest nights. Be warned though, the revelers from Brussels are a lively bunch!
