Following on from "Tout Hergé", "Tout Simenon", "I was 20 in 45", "Made in Belgium" and "Leonardo da Vinci, the European Genius", in the magnificent setting of Guillemins railway station, the Collections et Patrimoines and Europa 50 teams are launching "SOS PLANET" - the biggest exhibition ever held on the theme of global warming.
The aim is to assess the situation, identify plausible approaches for the future of the planet and raise public awareness of the climate issues of the future.

The exhibition

At the dawn of the 21st century, leading scientific experts are concerned about the future of a sick planet. Climate imbalances and natural disasters are disrupting economic growth projections and placing a heavy burden on future development prospects. Without
being melodramatic, the time has come to ask the right questions in an attempt to prepare a realistic diagnosis and focus the debate on solutions.

Spectacular Display

The exhibition uses cutting edge technologies and spectacular objects and documents, as well as a wide range of showcases and animated films, all with the aim of reaching out to visitors and raising their awareness.
