It is called pain à la Grecque (Greek bread), however the origins of this typical Brussels delicacy aren't to be found somewhere near Athens or the Parthenon... this sweet originates exclusively from Brussels.

These are often the nightmare of children but the delight of adults. This variety of cabbage, which resembles little rounded heads, indeed has a somewhat marked taste. Winter vegetables, they are cooked for 15 minutes in salt water then braised in a buttered saucepan. Sprinkled with freshly grated nutmeg, sprouts should be eaten with a piece of meat.
