The only rubbish bag you can use in the Brussels region is white and floods our streets when the dustmen call twice a week. The white bag is incredibly strong: it can handle everything.
On the supermarket shelves, not far from the compulsory white bag, ecologically aware customers will also find blue, yellow and green bags. Blue is for household tins and metal (food and drink cans...), juice cartons and glass (for those who are not meticulous enough to go and throw their glass into the specially provided skips throughout town). Yellow is for paper: magazines, newspapers, old books, cardboard or free ads.

From the 1st to the 11th March 2012, the largest and most important trade fair for construction, renovation and interior of the country will open its doors again. About 1,000 exhibitors will present their most innovative products throughout the Brussels Expo.
