Woluwé-Saint-Lambert is justifiably proud of its many green areas: the Parc Communal along Chaussée de Roodebeek, Parc Malou to the east of Boulevard de la Woluwe, and between the two, behind the Shopping Center, Parc Aristide Bruant and lastly Parc des Sources (crossroads of Chaussée de Tervueren and Boulevard de la Woluwe). Its lake takes its source from the Woluwe river and the park is apparently home to some very interesting fauna. In residential terms, the closes in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert are unusual, even exclusive.
Those along Avenue du Capricorne and Avenue des Constellations are known for being stylish. To the north, close to Zaventem, there is also the major close called Clos des Peupliers and close to Parc Robert Schuman is Clos des Bouleaux... To be honest, there are also pretty and inviting areas in Woluwé-Saint-Lambert, both those by the Parc Malou and the other side of Stade Fallon, in the area bordering Kraainem and Stockel. Those who want elegant flats should visit the neighbourhood around avenue de Broqueville and Paul Heymans. The commune is also very sporty, namely due to the infrastructure in Stade Fallon which is perfectly suited to most athletic disciplines. The Poseidon swimming pool - one of the biggest pools in Brussels - also contains an ice rink.
