Apéros Urbains 2013The philosophy behind this event is to allow people to discover new places and especially to meet each other. The fact that people sit themselves in a specific area allows one to view new aspects of the area, which is often eluded during the daily working rush.

Les Apéros Urbains is all about feeling concerned by a magical place in your city, reinforcing your neighbourhood ties with your commune, developing a feeling of belonging to the same privileged moment. Imagine a moment, cradled by the sun's rays at the beginning of a summer evening, sipping an aperitif among friends at one of Brussels most beautiful panorama points. "Les Apéros Urbains" is also a way of rediscovering Brussels, its beautiful parks, its statues of famous characters and its little village aspect.

Les Apéros Urbains are meetings between friends from different circles, families, neighbours and work colleagues who are all made to feel welcome. There are even different forms of entertainment made available for all those in the mood: cards, bowls, badminton, backgammon, chess. However you feel like enjoying the event is up to you, relaxing in a pleasing environment, taking part in the games or having a party amongst friends...it's simply an occasion to enjoy and pay homage to your city.
