The 2012 edition of the gay and lesbian film festival is planned for next February, between the 2nd and the 11th . The festival takes place in Brussels but also in Louvain-la-Neuve, Liège and Mons, with about fifty movies.
Once again, meetings, debates, showings of the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (aka GLFF) will take place at the Vendôme. But gay and lesbian culture will be celebrate everywhere, through art and culture but this is also a social, militant and festive event. This is going to be a huge event, with more than 10 000 people attending. On the occasion of the 2012 edition, the gay and lesbian film festival will focus on Mediterranean basin where situation of homosexuals is still difficult.
A wonderful program
It will constitute a panel of wonderful films and the problem will be to pick some of them, among about fifty movies from all over the world: South Africa, Argentina, Chile, Turkey, USA, Australia, France, Greece, England...These will be a panel of pictures about homosexuality and trans-identities in the life of everybody.

The main venue stays the Cinéma Le Vendôme, located at Porte de Namur, for stands and cinema programing.New places
With the help of new partners, the festival will take place in different Belgian cities: not only Brussels, but also Anderlecht, Dinant, Liège, Louvain-la-Neuve, Mons and Namur. There will be real cultural events in each one of the cities, through films, debates, exhibitions and much more.This year, the festival puts the focus on the expression of homosexuality and gender identity, through four events, based on different artistic disciplines.

During the festival, graphic arts are promoted through an exhibitions parcours all over Brussels. Stroll from the Toison d'Or Theater, starting point, to the rainbow house and have a break at the Tels Quels Café and Homo Erectus Classicus to discover the work of some artists.Arts performance
The festival proposes two shows: 'Soeurs Emmanuelle' and 'Valentine Deluxe fait son cinéma'."Soeurs Emmanuelle" from Laurence Bibot and Nathalie Uffner will be played at the Toison d'Or Theater, from the 2nd until the 11th of February. The 6th and last one woman show of the Belgian humorist will cheer you up!
GLFF proposes a second show: "Valentine Deluxe fait son cinéma", by Bennoït Bureau.
And finally, a big FLGBT Party will take place at the Tentation, Saturday the 4th of February, from 10pm. We are quite sure you will be up all night long! Charline Louis
