Brenart Art Gallery presents recent works of Serge Strosberg unter the name "Serge Strosberg - The expressionist of fashion". This is his second exhibition in Belgium in a style somewhere between expressionism and realism.He displays the image of consumerism when he painted the windows in his neighborhood (SoHo).The exhibition explores the materialism associated with fashion, a world that is very prosaic and certainly is fascinating because the nights in the streets of Manhattan.
From his apartment in Downtown Manhattan, painter Serge Strosberg watches the workings of his bustling neighborhood unfold. He stands alone, his eyes tracking the movements of the tiny people strolling down Broadway five floors beneath him. The city, with all of its complexities, is the strength behind his art, his muse.
