Artists Route @ Saint-Gilles & Forest

Dive into the pool of talents in Saint-Gilles and Forest... The two communes invite you to follow this edition of the artists route. What to expect: surprising artistic discoveries one after the next, a crossroads of professional and amateur works, and an intercultural experience guaranteed to mirrors the people of Saint-Gilles and Forest! 

More than 250 workshops will be open to emphasize the works of hundreds of artists. Exhibitions that have been specifically designed for the event will take place in the communal buildings or on flagship properties of the neighborhood: Maison Pelgrims, Maison du Peuple, Maison des Cultures, Brass, Abbay de Forest, the Pianofabriek, the Horta museum...

Collective life, from a photographer's angle

The theme for this 2014 edition will explore "la vie ensemble", or collective life, through the perspective of photography. Result? Astonishing photo exhibitions, funny and moving, and spectacular highlighting of artists such as Gilbert Garcin, Doug Biggert, Alain Breyer, Olivier Papegnies…

Route Kit 

The route Kit is an essential add on to this expo. For 7 euros, you will receive a pass for the entire Artists Route 2014 as well as a catalog that will guide you through the workshops and events during the 3 weekends. Pick up your kit at Hotel de Ville, the Maison du Peuple, the Maison Pelgrims, the Maison du Livre, at CPAS, or at the Centre Culturel Jacques Franck.
