The dancefloor is filling up with high energy again for our 14th Bloomin's party. As usual, we aim to gather 2 talented acts to share their astral selection with the Brussels dancing bones. One local & one international, this is the concept.

This time, we're providing you Milano's best kept secret, Half of the "Jaxx Madicine" duo, Turbojazz is part of the second electronic music wave in Italy. Bring your helmet and jump up in the space shuttle guided by Turbojazz & the resident cat Kreshik.

Turbojazz (IT) [Jaxx Madicine]

Tommaso Garofalo known as Turbojazz, born in Verona and bred in Milan, began DJing and producing music in the early 2000's drawing heavy inspiration from hip hop and black music culture: from dance floor jazz to rare funk disco and all things soulful and deep. This journey through the waves of great black sounds and art led to the birth of "Unbreakable EP", the debut 12" on Local Talk which features "Please U" feat.David Blank with the remix by EVM128 and the acclaimed "Unicorn Rising" greatly welcomed by the likes of Laurent Garnier, DJ Deep, Luke Solomon, Tony Humphries, Lefto, Volcov, Ashley Beedle, Lay-Far to name a few. "Please U" was selected straight away by Crookers for his "Defected in Croatia" compilation and this saw Tommy ready to work on the remix of UK's soul legend Omar Lyefook on the original EVM128's track "Beyond".

He has also released with internationally acclaimed labels such as BBE with which he published a jazzy version of the well known house anthem "Strings of life", WAH WAH 45, GAMM in charge of the release of the perfect "Food for cats" series of reworks and his own CT-HI founded in 2014 with his partner, Parker Madicine.
Through the years Turbojazz , has delighted club and festival crowds across the globe with his unique sound; from NY's Submercer, Sifò Club in Barcelona, Roxy, Vienna to Elita Festival (Milan) and Soundwave Festival (Croatia) to name a few and has worked with artists like Nicolas Jaar, Moodymann, Afrika Bambaata, Kode9 and many others.

In the last years, he has been focusing more on personal productions with the newly founded ensemble Jaxx Madicine together with his old time partner Parker Madicine and Italian jazz pianist Fabio Visocchi (Veezo).

He was also chosen among the 16 participants of the prestigious Red Bull Academy Bass Camp Rome which gave him a chance to work with some of the most interesting artists in the italian music scene. Though his plate may seem quiet full, Turbojazz keeps on bringing new and captivating sounds through his well loved programme on the web Radio Raheem.

Kreshik (BE) [Bloom Hill]
ʘ DJ set ʘ

DJ and Co-Founder of Bloom Hill Agency, Kreshik is a hypnotic selector that delights into hip-hop, funk, afrobeat and house music. Starting from humble beginnings, the turntablist is infamous for throwing down his Huveshta Rituals. Kreshik is named after a mole cartoon, a symbolism that he loves to get down and dirty digging for worthy underground records. Nothing satisfies the subject of being able to bring vinyls out of dusty old basements onto electrifying dance floors.

Praise and accolades of his plays, but also internationally, performing in cities of Montreal, Tehran, Warsaw, Hanoi, Berlin or even Taipei. Whether you want to be hypnotized on the dance floor or simply ready to lose yourself to the kreshik 's infectious grooves, his plays are guaranteed to fulfil all your needs..
