Indeed a Brussels institution, the Poseidon ice skating rink in Woluwé has been in business for more than 50 years. The reputation of their Friday night parties is well established…
At 7 pm, there’s no need to clear any furniture as the music goes up. Disco hits boom through the hall as skaters whip around the ice. We are family, YMCA, Lady Marmelade, Gloria Gaynor, or Telex – the DJs play it all.
Themed nights
Throughout the season, the Poseidon puts on many different themed parties. On the first Friday of every month all the hits from the 80s and 90s get their time to shine. From Gala to the Backstreet Boys to Nirvana, people can skate and dance to the best from the 80s to the 90s.
Classic events like Halloween or Carnival have their place as well, but a disco foam party always makes its way in at the end of the season. Check out the schedule on Poseidon’s website.
