Beautiful Badness is a franco-belgian collective gathered around the composer and singer Gabriel Sesboué. Five musicians coming from different horizons and projects that have been touring all over Europe (Wax Taylor, Univers Zero…) tell a story about the past, the leaving, and nostalgia. Inspired by the English and American melancholic pop as well as classical music, Beautiful Badness offers an organic sound contrasting with today’s mainstream electro wave, walking in the footsteps of artists such as Agnes Obel or Woodkid. Choirs, dark and heavy pianos, almost orchestral drums, high-flying guitars and old instruments, everything comes as a support for lead vocals that take off from the lowest notes to the inaccessible top.
