L'expo du Chat @ Galerie Petits Papiers
22 Mar 2012 - 16 Apr 2012
The enthusiasts will have the chance to see, for the first time or not, the drawings loved by the humorist and other ones. Because Geluck is interested in a lot of different themes, this time he focused on Old and Modern Art, Art with a capital A. That's why he gives us a collection of paintings about styles, icons, leaders, etc.
With composure, he pulls the pin out of Mona Lisa, the painting Action of Pollock, the compressions of Cesar or Milo's Venus and he had also worked on engravings and illustrations of the XIX century. Philippe Geluck takes them and adapts them, defying contemporary codes about Art in our occidental society. Debonair critic, he takes us back to the literal meaning without complex!
