Mannaerts (born in Brussels in 1974) extends the medium of collage to include three-dimensional objects. She raises questions about the relationship between organic and inorganic forms, the autonomy of objects, and the stories that reverberate in them. With a variety of different materials she creates hybrid and unruly forms. An exhibition that cannot be ignored by those who have a keen interest in young Belgian artists.
