Why organise a later opening hour?

Brussels needs to adapt to the new lifestyles, people work later and don't have the time to go shopping during the week. A later opening hour is the answer to a demand, the demand of clients but mostly just the answer to the standards held for a European capital such as Brussels.

For the clients: Beyond the immediate benefits, like a couple of additional hours to do your shopping, just enough to avoid Saturday's queues. And of course, it's a plus for all those last minute errands: no birthday gift, an evening with friends, a date,... You'll always be ready!

For the shopkeepers: In an uncertain time, the shopkeepers need all the help they can get. This initiative will allow them to increase their income and to expand their clientele that usually do their shopping on Saturday.

During the launching evening, a competition will be organised and the first price will be: shopping night with reductions, personnal shopper, aperitive and restaurant. There will also be discounts in all participating shops.

To promote the event, themed promotionnal actions will be organised. A promotional calendar will be put in place to offer every first Thrusday of the month a specific theme, like "perfumers' reductions", "preferential rate for a night in a hotel",... And finally, animations will be organised in each neighbourhood druing the first three Thrusdays of the initiative.

So, no need to queue on Saturdays, come and enjoy these additional hours to satisfy your shopping cravings.
