A generous, delightful and sophisticated cooking
In the heart of the Stockel district for 10 years now exists a restaurant named Gou. This restaurant is being revitalized and has opened up to the idea of bistronomy. Open every day and at all hours, Gou sells delicious refined food in the friendly atmosphere of a bistro.
Gou: tasty, sophisticated food and generous servings
They’ve got a new look: a charming, yet better equipped kitchen, a meeting room upstairs (open winter 2013), double the number of place settings, but still a chilled out and friendly place. It’s the new version of Gou! Regulars can be assured that even though there are new items on the menu, the spirit of the restaurant has not changed. The priorities at Gou are flavor and freshness for a reasonable price (menu du Marché for 32€, Business menu between 12.50€ and 22.50€). Turan, who gets his provisions at the morning market everyday, is in charge in the kitchen. He is always surrounded by a staff with experience in big restaurants, just like him.
A little something new: shellfish, oysters, and lobster will be offered at the oyster bar in the restaurant. Whether you eat in or take it to go, you will enjoy the best in the sea.
Equally delicious décor
On the floor we can find Lucy, the other manager, who made over all the decoration. With the mix of black, white, shades of orange, fine wooden patchwork and vintage lamps, you will always feel cozy at Gou. And if the decoration is pulling you in, you can buy it! Almost everything in Gou can be purchased, from the dishware to the iconic white pivoting seats. Seasoned lovers of bistronomy or just a fan of good, authentic taste, the non-stop cuisine at Gou is waiting for you…
