Improbotics

What do words like ‘art’, ‘creativity’ and ‘humour’ mean in the era of smart technology and self-learning algorithms ? Can a robot ever make theatre and if so, what does this non-human theatre look like ? Improbotics is a technologically advanced improvisational theater show including scientific experiment. A real Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot performs in this show - both as a robot and in a human body - and tries to convince the audience of its humanity. Will our software succeed in this Turingtest ? It’s the actors’ impossible and hilarious task to emotionally and physically justify every line the AI generates, even if it doesn’t make much sense.
