The design museum of Brussels
Discover historic and contemporary design, intelligible to all
Launched in the wake of the purchase by the Atomium of the collection of the Plasticarium in December 2014, the ADAM-Brussels Design Museum adopts an innovative and surprising perspective on plastic design from the 1950s until today but also on other forms of design. Through its exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, conferences and discussions, the ADAM-Brussels Design Museum seeks to render historic and contemporary design intelligible to all.
The permanent collection, the collection of the Plasticarium, which makes up the core of the Brussels Design Museum, is regularly enriched with temporary exhibitions that make it possible to approach other aspects and periods of the history of design or contemporary creations. From the history of nightclubs to the evolution of interiors via exhibitions on the world of graphic design and of the punk movement, the ADAM-Brussels Design Museum has been pursuing, since its opening three years ago, its exploration of all the territories of the history of design.
