Arau - Atelier de Recherche et d'Action Urbaine

Since 1977, ARAU has organised guided tours of Brussels under the generic title “Brussels seen by its residents”. These tours aim to boost the image of the city and to help participants better understand its development, its riches and its changes. Today it is still in the goal to raise awareness of the history and historic buildings of Brussels among visitors that ARAU offers 20 guided tours, covering various themes, that can be enjoyed as individuals on a public tour (in French or English), or by group on private tours. The programme includes: “Brussels 1900 - Art Nouveau”, “The Cradle of Art Nouveau”, “From Art Nouveau to Art Deco”, “Unmissable Brussels”, “A European District in Brussels”, etc.
