Hooverphonic in a more intimate setting! Sit Down and Listen 2 Hooverphonic is the more intimate version of their orchestral success story. An evening to relax and enjoy the impressive list of hits from their 15-year career, accompanied by strings, horns, just as Hooverphonic had originally intended it.
2012 is Hooverphonic's year. Not only did Alex Callier realise his boyhood dream of playing with an entire symphony orchestra. What's more, there were no less than six concerts in Antwerp's Koningin Elizabethzaal sold out in no time. "Grand and timeless", headlined De Morgen afterwards.
Their latest album 'Hooverphonic with Orchestra' immediately entered the Ultratop Album Charts at No.1 and, in doing so, it beat the success of 'Hooverphonic presents Jackie Cane' in 2002, which only pushed through to No.1 after three weeks.
That's not all either, as at the end of the year Hooverphonic will be heading out into theatres with a more intimate cast, accompanied by 12 classical musicians.
