Maison Cauchie : A splendid centenary
As exhibitions on Art Nouveau proliferate in the city where it originated at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, this year is the centenary of Maison Cauchie.

A home totally designed and decorated by architect Paul Cauchie (1875-1952), this splendid dwelling along Rue des Francs in Etterbeek is exhibiting its best sgraffiti: a façade containing nine muses and pure gems on the ground floor, also containing furniture from the period, whereas the lower ground floor still houses the great artist's workshop. With a paltry entrance fee of 4 EUROS, Maison Cauchie is open the first Sunday each month from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm, or by appointment, as long as you come as a group. Details from 02/673.15.06. or 02/733.86.84.
