Art on Paper

Art on Paper presents in the heart of Brussels a unique panorama of the quality and diversity of contemporary approaches to drawing through the organisation of an international exhibition dedicated to this practice. In collaboration with BOZAR, the Art on Paper fair offers the various audiences, professionals and amateurs alike, the opportunity to discover this discipline through the presentation of solo shows by artists selected by established and emerging Belgian and international galleries. Art on Paper aims to present artistic proposals that reflect the variety and diversity of contemporary approaches to drawing, rooted in the specificity of graphic expression: whether artists devote all their work to drawing or occasionally lend themselves to it, whether figurative, abstract, monumental, minimalist, three-dimensional, performance-based, narrative... it constantly renews its possibilities, both in its compositions and in its methods, demonstrating the richness and relevance of contemporary drawing. The Art on Paper exhibition is part of the programming of the Brussels Drawing week, which will take place from 14 to 20 September 2020 in Brussels. Art on Paper is the stated ambition to assert the line, without fear of deflecting it.
