12 May 2014 - 21 Jun 2014

Quebec has already offered the world the beauty of Cirque du Soleil. And this beautiful province is now sharing Cavalia with us. What do they have in common? Normand Latourelle, the co-founder of the Montreal based company and a manager of this equestrian spectacle, acclaimed by more than 4 million spectators worldwide. The newest version of this spectacle has been from North America to Australia to the Middle East, and will soon be in Brussels (after a first appearance in Belgium in 2008).
Cavalia
The relationship between man and his most noble conquest, the horse, is the framework for Cavalia. The spectacle is a mix of passion and emotion, elegance and skill. Fifty horses and fifty performers make up this incredible show. Cavalia is a celebration of humans and horses, giving an interesting twist to the traditional equestrian show.
Man and animal bring us through an imaginary world, their imaginary world. They display a bond that is mesmerizing. The show is complemented with an orchestra, whose music plays to the rhythm of the bouncing manes. We mustn't forget the mind-blowing decor, or the frescoes and backdrop of this magical spectacle. The audience feels transported to another place and time. The performers make you feel surrounded by a mythical universe with the help of special effects, colorful lighting, and multimedia projections. The unbelievable friendship you will witness makes you question who trained the other first.
