City Sonic - International Sound Arts Festival

This summer City Sonic celebrates 10 years of sound creation at Mons, as well as in Brussels and Huy for the first time, with a widened field of action, programming and visibility. Inhabitants of Brussels, get your planners out !

Meet us at l'iselp ( superior institute for visual language studies ) for the exhibition of ''Spectral archives of Julien Sirjacq ''. Having found the archives of conductor Boris de Vinogradov, the artist has created a vast rhizomatic installation : the inside ear. Through kinetic painting, electro-acoustic music, technological obsolescence and necrophonia, you will discover a simultaneously true and fictional character.

Meet us at the Galleries for the exhibition ''Sonic Cinema''. This exhibition has been specially created in connection with this new location dedicated to numerical arts, the Galeries. Sound, mental images, music videos, sound poetry, audio-visual interactions ... Come discover the work pieces of many artists : Christian Vialard, Christian Rizzo, Emmanuel Lagarrigue, Pierre Belouin...
