Courts Mais Trash - Festival 2019
16 Jan 2019 - 20 Jan 2019
For almost a decade and a half Courts Mais Trash has been a uniting force among independent cinema lovers. Unique in its field, the festival has guided independently produced flicks, up-and-coming directors, low budget productions and budding film makers on their way to the big screen.

Les Riches-Claires - 24 Rue des Riches Claires 1000
For our 2019 edition, screenings will take place not only at the festivals historical home: Riches-Claires but also for the first time ever, at the prestigious Cinéma Palace.
Scheduled screenings: in excess of one hundred deliciously wicked, trashy, leftfield and radical shorts.
This year will be particularly in sync with the zeitgeist as the festival provides a special female touch. With a spotlight aimed at ‘Female Troubles’ the festival offers women an exclusive venue to express, redefine and defy the notions of their genre. Not pigeonholed in a single category and void of classification, often under-represented as film makers, women will get an uncompromised chance to shine in full and long overdue, cinematic glory.
Keeping tradition, it’s you the audience who gets to decide by way of vote, which of your favorite films will walk away with the grand prize in our national and international competition as well as in our best cheap production category. A total sum of 1500 euros, courtesy of Sabam For Culture, will be divided amongst the winners.
