Echoes of Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival

A representative showcase of documentary films screened at the past year’s festival including a selection of winning films will be held for the seventh time in Belgium.

The films are dealing with various themes, the choice reflects the rich programme sections of the IDFF Ji.hlava that features directors debuts, experimental and short films, feature-lenght Czech and Eastern-European films, docu-reality and more.

Wednesday, February 6 / 6.30 pm / Opening Ceremony of the Echoes
Talks with TGM + Q&A with Jakub Červenka

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director and a cocktail reception.

VENUE:European Parliament, Place du Luxembourg 100, Altiero Spinelli Building, B-1047 Brussels. The entrance to the venue will be possible through the Atrium Welcome Point from the Esplanade Solidarnocs.

Masterclass Salomé Jashi
Salomé Jashi is a Georgian documentary filmmaker and cinematographer and the co-founder of the Sakdoc Film production company. During her lecture she will show excerpts from her films and talk about approaching characters, as well as about finding the right visual style in documentary filmmaking.
