International Festival of Independent Film in Brussels

An essential event presenting Belgian and internationalcinema, IFIF has a national and international competitionthat allows the discovery of a rich but often overlooked cinema. Each year, a country's film industryis put forward to reveal the artistic world of of the most inflential directors representing a movement or a generation. This year, Lebanon will be honored, anopportunity for the audience to discover this diverse country's cinema and culture.
True to its philosophy, FIFI is primarily a human-scaled festival that allows encounters between filmmakers, producers, distributors, writers, media and the public in a friendly atmosphere.

The program for this 39th edition looks varied : Belgian internationalshort and feature films, sneak-previews, distinguished guests, a panel discussion, film lessons, a discovery of Lebanon's culture and cuisine ... The IFIF will take place from 6 to 10 November 2012 in different places : 06/11: Opening Night at Flagey Studio 4 07/11: national and international competition at the Vendôme and Daarkom 08/11: international competition in Room M at Bozar 09/11: International competition at the Vendôme and shorts from the South at Daarkom 10/11: Closing Ceremony and announcement of the winners at the Espace MaghSpot Festival International du Film Indépendant 2012 from Centre Multimedia on Vimeo.
