La stagione dell’amore

The duo Denicolai & Provoost experiments and reappropriates the codes, spaces and signs of our societies. In this exhibition they present their recent digital experiments printed on road signs. No directional information, nor geographical indication on the horizon. The signalling function of the panels is bypassed by the printing of abstract drawings. Colored flat tints, jerky strokes and iridescent reflections frolic happily in the silver frames of the panels. As for the title, it sets the tempo, a nod to Franco Battiato’s song and to the Italian diaspora in the region: it’s the season of love.
