Marta De Lluvia (voice and guitar) is an Italian singer songwriter. She draws inspiration from Italian, Latin American and Russian poets and songwriters from the XX century, as well as from folk and jazz music. She has lived and performed in Germany and Russia. In 2013 she published her first collection of poems. She won the Best Lyrics Award at the Italian female songwriters’ competition “Bianca D’Aponte” (Italy) in 2017. In 2018 she moved to Brussels, where she met Marc François and Michael Beeghley who are now part of her musical project. In April 2019 she released her first album “Grano” (Wheat) and started her presentation tour. Marc François (harmonica and mandolin) is a Belgian Multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bluesharp and ukulele) with a folky-bluesy-jazzy repertoire. During the last 30 years, he did some busking in the streets of Brussels, he played in Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. He also took part in some festivals (Göttinger Musikfest-D), and he set up some bands (folk, blues-rock) and duos. Michael Beeghley (bass guitar) is an American multi-instrumentalist who has appeared on dozens of recordings and has regularly performed live in Chicago, South Korea, Germany, and now in Belgium. He is also a composer (ASCAP), producer, voice over artist, and sound effects designer for video games and film. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University (music) and Berklee College of Music (sound design & production).
