River Jazz Festival

Brussels, you jazz city! The first edition of the River Jazz festival takes its strength from three different Brussels jazz stages: The Marni, Jazz Station and Senghor. The path taken between Ixelles and Saint-Josse through Etterbeek is actually the old riverbed Maelbeek, which has inspired the name of this new event.

This new association will bring forth many Belgian and international jazzmen and -women during 2 weeks in the heart of winter. The closing of the River Jazz Festival will honor Manu Hermia with a triple concert during the River Jazz Night.

What had started out as a "one shot" is turning out to be one of the biggest Belgian jazz music groups. The young septet is bound to make the audience swing. Led by guitar player Guillaume Vierset, the LG Jazz Collective gathers a whole new generation of jazz players.
