Lecture by Francesco Lo Bue (MuMons):
"Light on black holes: discovering cosmic monsters"
Discover the story of an idea. A shocking idea, which defies common sense. An idea that matures, evolves, transforms and refines itself over two centuries. Ultimately, with prodigious discoveries. A story of creative, endearing, brilliant, obstinate humans, sometimes with dark sides. An astonishing story, sad at times, jubilant at others. Light on black holes… What if we set out to discover cosmic monsters?
Night observations*:
From 10 p.m., go to the field for night observations. You can admire the starry sky and discover its legends! Accompanied by specialists from the Olympus Mons astronomy club, you will discover the planets and constellations.
*subject to weather conditions.
Access to the SPARKOH! from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
