The Ukulogical Museum on tour
01 Jun 2019 - 01 Jun 2019
Wherenowhere, Brussels’ infamous underground art gallery invites you to an evening of unsurpassed amusement with the performance of the Ukulogical Museum, a band showcasing the Ukelele, a little instrument in all its forms.
With its roots in Patagonia, the Ukulele is the distinctive 4-snare instrument that the doctors in Ukology, Luk Tegenbos & Peter Van Eyck, moulded into various forms, often resulting into hilarious instruments.
They call themselves the guardians of the Ukulogical Museum, yet a museum it is not!
It is a travelling display of virtuosity on a hybrid collection of created, modified and rebuilt instruments – from Ukulele to Passe-Vitelele, Telelele, Violele or even Dokalele (and missing some).
