The Brussels-Capital Region is turning 30 this year, and that is something worth celebrating, especially this summer. Until 31 August, visit experience.brussels, the permanent exhibition that's all about Brussels, for free. Visitors to the exhibition will also get to know some of Brussels' most extraordinary inhabitants.

This year, the Brussels-Capital Region is celebrating its 30th birthday. For visit.brussels, it's the ideal occasion to organise a whole host of activities. experience.brussels, their permanent exhibition in the BIP building on Rue Royale/Koningsstraat, will be completely free in July and August. Until 31 August, visitors will get to know our region for free in an interactive way.
A 3D scale model gives a perfect view of Brussels and its evolution, there's a refreshing look at the people who live in the capital, a trip around the world in 19 municipalities for children and the experience.brussels quiz for young people, ... Visitors can discover and rediscover the Brussels-Capital Region completely free during the summer months.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Brussels-Capital Region, visit.brussels has captured the soul of Brussels' inhabitants, known as Brusseleirs. Nine short portraits of colourful locals bring visitors into contact with what is quintessentially Brussels. These ordinary people are representative of Brussels and the themes that make this region so unique. Visitor's will meet, among others, a cartoonist, a tram conductor and a fashion designer. These nine videos have been given a permanent place in the experience.brussels exhibition.
The videos fit in perfectly with the design of the exhibition. experience.brussels wants people to (re)discover our region in a surprising way and has used all types of modern technology to do so. This makes the exhibition an interesting, exciting and entertaining experience.
Visitors leave with answers to a number of questions about Brussels, useful tips and a nice postcard from the photobooth. It's the perfect opportunity for visitors of all ages to visit the BIP, an 18th century gem on Place Royale/Koningsplein.
