After opening La Cueva de Castilla, Roberto Ponte is now stepping onto Argentinian soil at Argentina. Located in Schaerbeek, this new venue offers a wide selection of meats.
Roberto has found the perfect partner to embark on this adventure with him. Juan, a chef from Seville, has built his experience in restaurants specializing in Argentinian cuisine. Their impressive expertise has allowed them to offer a range of the best meats including horse, beef, veal, lamb and pork from the best producers.
Argentina is aimed at meat lovers. You can enjoy roasted or grilled dishes with sauces such as the Archiduc (Archduke), Bearnaise, pepper, Roquefort and the famous Argentinian "chimichurri" sauce made with coriander, chilli, garlic and lime.
Among the starters are meat empanadas (little stuffed parcels), grilled chorizo with mango confit and tortillas which will whisk you away to the vast grassy plains of Argentina where meat is like a religion.
At Argentina, you can also choose from a selection of suggested meat dishes, enjoy delicious mixed salads as well as local wines that are gradually becoming a key part of the menu.
In this sleek red and black venue in Stendhal, the decor plays along with the game too. The restaurant's fabulous terrace seats up to thirty and will convince anyone arriving on horseback to get off their horse. It's also a great place for all wine lovers.
