Alicia Keys is undoubtedly the most beautiful voices in recent decades. The New Yorker, is passionnated by hip hop, jazz and soul, and gives the R & B an additional dimension.
The beauty became known in 2001 with her debut album "Songs in A Minor," she quickly demonstrates great musical intelligence and impressed by the emotional intensity of her voice magnified by her skill at the piano. The singles "Fallin" and "A Woman's Worth" became instant tubes. She continues along the same lines with her second opus "The Dairy of Alicia Keys." Later, "As I Am" (2007) book, notably the magnificent song "No One".
A star is born
Meanwhile, Alicia is reaping the fruits of her labor: 87 awards, including 12 prestigious Grammy Awards and over 30 million albums sold worldwide. At 28, Alicia Keys is one of the most successful artist of her generation. But the diva of modern times can diversify her talent to show her wonderful collaboration with Jack White on "Another Way to Die," Generic recent James Bond movie "Quantum of Solace". Today she is back in the title featuring Jay-Z "Empire State of Mind". This title also appears elsewhere, in another version on her new album "Element of Freedom". An album that can be described in two words: pure class. In the aftermath, Alicia Keys is embarking on a new world tour which will pass through Belgium for a single show at the Antwerp Sportpaleis next 15th May. The presale begins this Thursday, December 17th at 9am!
