This fall, in September to be precise, the Finnish cello-rock group APOCALYPTICA will release their new studio album. As always the band will associate this release with an extensive world tour, which will once again make a stop in the AB.
It will then be exactly 10 years ago since the band first stood on the AB stage, then to support with the release of the album 'Apocalyptica Plays Metallica'.
Apocalyptica is a phenomenon from Helsinki: playing metal and rock only with cellos. The have four 4 studio albums on their record and also the live DVD 'The Life Burns Tour'. They no longer only cover Metallica-, Slayer- and Sepultura-classics but have also recorded a lot of their own material with the vocal assistance of diverse performers like H.I.M., The Rasmus, Nina Hagen and Max Cavalera.
