D*TOURS : spoken city tours
The tour starts from a specific meeting place in the city. Place an audio headset over your ears, linked to a CD player. Push the play button. A voice then asks you to follow its instructions.

The third Brussels D*TOURS circuit in the city covers what is undoubtedly the world's most stunning main square. One of Brussels' historical jewels, the Grand-Place symbolises the heart of the city, not just through its impressive architecture, but also with its narrow maze of streets. A walk blending Brussels architecture, gebouwen history, legends, fine eating, folklore and surrealism, with a truly authentic feel!

Fancy discovering the Marolles?

Renowned throughout Belgium, just like our cyclists and football players, the Marolles are, for most Belgian citizens, a sort of homely, popular myth. Everyone knows about the unique daily market on the Jeu de Balle and the warm blend of French, Flemish and Spanish known as the Brusseleer dialect, unique to this neighbourhood. Yet we don't know the real story underlying this heritage that is gradually disappearing, just as the number of high-rise blocks in the capital increases. The first D*TOURS™ in Brussels is devoted to the heart of the welcoming, ironic, surrealist, friendly and rebellious old town. The Marolles are highly unusual, very rich in tradition, and always animated, oozing human warmth.
