Explain that Brusselslife has undertaken research to find this event.

Gastronomy is an art form that leaves no one indifferent. Everyone likes to enjoy delicious food to regain their strength, because it is vital. Brusselslife will therefore present the Streat Fest in detail to convince you of its interest and explain why this event is a must.

FOOD, MUSIC & MORE!

From Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 May, in the heart of Tour & Taxi's Sheds, you will have the opportunity to attend Streat Fest. This festival will offer street food, workshops, street art and music to keep you entertained. Also on the programme is an exquisite buffet of stimulating and gourmet arts, just like our capital, which will be shared between chefs, artists and festival-goers in a tasty atmosphere! You're probably wondering what's on the menu? More than 50 chefs will be on hand to offer you street food menus. There will also be street workshops where you can try your hand at street art by participating in the creation of a giant collaborative work. For the more cyclist among you, there will be scooter initiations and a 2-wheeled course. If you're planning to bring your children along, no problem, there will be a kids' corner to keep them busy throughout the weekend. The festival promises to be as festive as it is musical: it will offer a rich and eclectic programme of around twenty Belgian artists and DJs who will set the Streat Fest stage alight. Street artists, circus performers and graffiti artists will also enliven each space with their original talents. We will have the pleasure of listening to Jali, soon to return with a new single, The Méthane, with a sunny and danceable set, the Brussels rock duo Suicide Sue, Funky Bompa, a mix of funk, soul and jazz, Estelle Baldé, the lo-fi pop duo Twin Toes, Pacemark, Laura Crowe & Him and Maleck, among others. The Streat Fest will also feature a market for producers and craftsmen. This will give you the opportunity to discover the "made in Belgium" know-how of these professionals in the same sustainable and reasoned approach that the festival proposes. Gathered at Tour & Taxis, epicureans, gourmets and enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a complete experience that will awaken all their senses. The promise of the Streat Fest? A weekend of tasting quality street food, discovering new flavours and cultures and dancing to rhythmic sounds.
